When an evaluation may help
Individualized treatment
Evaluation of shoulder, chest wall, trunk and posture to identify restrictions affecting comfort and everyday function.
Progressive exercises help restore shoulder and chest movement without exceeding current surgical, drain or reconstruction precautions.
Graded strengthening and activity practice support reaching, lifting, dressing, work and return to meaningful routines.
When healing permits, treatment may address scar sensitivity and tissue restrictions that limit movement or comfort.
Education, monitoring and specialized care are available for swelling or lymphatic concerns following lymph-node surgery or radiation.
A practical home plan reinforces safe movement, pacing, symptom monitoring and communication with your surgical and oncology teams.
Your first visit
Your evaluation is designed to clarify what you are experiencing, identify priorities and create a realistic plan for daily life.
Begin post-surgical exercise and hands-on treatment only with clearance from your surgical team. Contact that team promptly for fever, increasing redness or drainage, sudden or worsening swelling, severe pain, shortness of breath or other concerning symptoms.
Take the next step
